We did more work on our blogs today.  We learned how to make comments on other blogs.  I posted the guidelines for the comments on http://mrvarnum.learnerblogs.org.

HOMEWORK:  Continue to read in the novel.  You must be through page 88 by Friday.  Your post is due today and you should try to make two comments by Wednesday.

When leaving comments remember:

• Comments must be relevant to the novel (no personal comments).
• Comments must be specific with some new detail (something the blog you are commenting on has not used).
• Comments may answer questions from the blog, support or refute comments made on the blog, and/or support or refute predictions.  As always you must support your comment with some specific detail.

We finished watching All the President’s Men this morning.   We also watched the feature on the identity of Deepthroat.  Tomorrow, the intro class will take the quiz on the film, focusing on the journalistic aspects (you don’t need to know the history or names).

HOMEWORK:  Two new articles due Friday.
