We began by reviewing the questions from chapters 8-11 and then read chapters 15 and 16 which show Huck’s development as a character by apologizing to Jim and deciding not to turn him in.  After the break, we worked on our blogs.

We began by reviewing the quiz from yesterday (most did well).  We listened to chapter 15 and talked about how Huck’s attitude toward Jim has changed based on his willingness to apologize to Jim.  We also met the King and the Duke.

We did Writing Workshop #4 as a warm up today.  It focused on avoiding generalizations.

Several students went to interview sources and the rest continued working on articles.
