We took the quiz on Vocabulary Unit 9.
We reviewed for the test on Huck Finn by creating chapter titles for the first 31 chapters. They will be able to use these sheets on the test.
HOMEWORK: Prepare for the test on Friday.

We began with the vocabulary quiz.
Then, I distributed the Huck Finn American Dream Essay Assignment. We talked about how to organize the essay and construct the thesis statement.
HOMEWORK: Finish reading the novel and prepare for the test.
WHAT’S NEXT: Review the novel Thursday and Monday. Essay test on Tuesday.
