We worked on the Huck Finn essays.  Everyone is now on Google Docs.

WHAT’S NEXT:  Whitman and Dickinson.

We read from our novels for the first half of the period, then reviewed Blake’s poems “The Tyger” and “The Lamb”. We discussed these poems in relation to Romanticism.

HOMEWORK: Continue reading in the novel.

WHAT’S NEXT: Wordsworth.

While awaiting the beginning of the “madness”, we worked on a graphic organizer for the essay.  We came up with strengths and weaknesses and examples from the book.

We began layout. Some students were still revising their articles and downloading them to the server.
