We reviewed Vocabulary Unit 10.  Then, we discussed “I Hear America Singing”.

We finished with another SAT practice essay based on a quote from Atticus Finch.

HOMEWORK:  Read 356-361 and answer “Shaping Interpretation” questions for both poems.  Study for vocabulary quiz.  Check for grade on Huck Finn essay and make revisions if necessary.

We continued with presentations today.  All students with PowerPoint presentations must send them as e-mail attachments to thomas.varnum@tyngsboroughps.org.
 

We wrote another SAT practice essay on courage (a quote from Atticus Finch).  Following that, we began discussing “Song of Myself #33″.

HOMEWORK:  Revise Huck Finn essays on line.  Study vocab words.

We continued to watch Good Night and Good Luck.  Stringbooks are due today.

HOMEWORK:  Story Generators due tomorrow.
