We reviewed The Great Gatsby today.  Each student was assigned a chapter and chose the most significant quote from that chapter and explained its significance.

We worked on layout and peer editing our new articles today.

We worked on our research paper drafts today in class.  We used the highlight and comment functions to check our drafts.

HOMEWORK:  Make revisions to your drafts based on our work in class.

We continued working on our rough drafts and reviewed Gatsby for the test on Tuesday.

HOMEWORK:  Rough draft due on Tuesday.  Test on Gatsby on Tuesday.

We began watching Minority Report in conjunction with 1984.  Several people were still working on their final drafts of the research paper which was due today.

HOMEWORK:  Finish reading 1984 in preparation for the test on Tuesday.   Senior week writing assignments are due on Thursday.
