We worked on the advertising blitz today.  Students were assigned three local businesses to ask for ads.  We also talked about sources for our first articles.

HOMEWORK:  Work on getting ads and interviewing people for your articles.

We discussed the concept of the American Dream today.  We listed some questions on the board we would ask about the American Dream experienced by the people we would be reading.

HOMEWORK:  Type II, 20 lines — My Concept of the American Dream.  Also, start asking your family about immigration stories.

David has demanded that something be posted.  Complete the Type II on what the admissions people need to know.
