The Advanced and J2 students worked on their Student Expression Rights projects while the J1 students learned the basics of newswriting.

We imagined that we were college admissions board members, and we looked at some sample college application essays and made admissions decisions based on the information from the essay.

HOMEWORK: Revise draft of college application essay.

We talked about Puritans today:  their religion, government, lifestyle and influence on us today.  We tried to write down 10 things we remembered from our reading last night.

HOMEWORK:  Read 21-23 in vocab books and study words and definitions.  Do “Completing the Sentence” on pages 24-25.
