We took the vocabulary quiz on unit 1 and another SAT writing prompt.

HOMEWORK: Finish the “Beowulf” selection (39-46) and answer “Shaping Interpretation” questions on page 48. These questions will be discussed on Tuesday. Continue reading Grendel.

We took a practice test on “Of Plymouth Plantation” and talked about how to take these kinds of tests.  We reviewed the Shaping Interpretation questions for the selection and noted how one sided the treaty between the Puritans and Native Americans was.
