We took the vocab quiz on Unit 1 today.

Following that, we reviewed compound sentences using some sentences from the college application essays (which I returned).

We also discussed more of Beowulf in preparation for the quiz on Wednesday.

HOMEWORK:  Finish reading Beowulf selection and prepare for quiz on Wednesday.

We reviewed story generators and came up with some ideas for stories.  Students used some of the period to work on articles which are due on Friday.

HOMEWORK:  Articles due on Friday.   All articles must be posted on Google Docs.

We reviewed the words from Vocab Unit 2.  All exercised from this unit should have been completed last Friday.  The quiz will be Friday.

We continued reading “The Narrative of a Captivity”.

HOMEWORK:  Finish “The Narrative of a Captivity” and answer Shaping Interpretation questions on page 46.
