We did character sketches of the characters in The Canterbury Tales.
HOMEWORK: Read “The Pardoner’s Tale” from 129-137 and answer Shaping Interpretation questions on page 137.

We looked at “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” and talked about how the author used familiar images to instill fear in his listeners.
HOMEWORK: Finish reading the selection and answer the Shaping Interpretation questions. Continue working on essay which is due on Friday.
