We shared our Canterbury Tales character sketches and talked about how Chaucer felt about his characters.

I returned the Grendel tests and we talked about how to best answer essay questions.

We discussed the “Pardoner’s Tale” and “Wife of Bath’s Tale” in preparation for the quizzes on Thursday.

HOMEWORK:  Prepare for quizzes on the tales.

We read the articles which were due in class and continued to work on layout.

HOMEWORK: Story generators due on Monday, 10/15.

We listened to chapters 1+2 of Huck Finn and discussed what we learned about Huck.

HOMEWORK: Continue reading through chapter 6 for discussion tomorrow. Work on journals for first 9 chapters which are due on Monday.
