We took the vocab quiz on unit 3.
Following that, we spent time working in pairs on revising our essays.
HOMEWORK: Make revisions on your essays and finish reading The Scarlet Letter. Both should be finished by Wednesday.

I returned the Grendel essays and we talked about how to perform well on essay tests (because many did not on this one).
We reviewed “The Pardoner’s Tale” and “The Wife of Bath’s Tale” in preparation for the quiz on Friday.
HOMEWORK: Prepare for quizzes on Canterbury Tales.
