We took a quiz on “Self-Reliance” today.  I also presented the class with an Extra Credit opportunity.  They can participate in the Poetry Out Loud competition.

HOMEWORK:  Read 230-244 and answer Reading Check questions on p. 246.

We finished working on our projects today.  Those who were not doing performances participated in the Macbeth Jeopardy game I created.

HOMEWORK:  Finish working on projects and essays.  Test will be administered tomorrow.

We began our study of Emerson’s “Nature”.  We read and discussed the first paragraph together, then broke into partners to read the remainder together and take 2-4 notes per paragraph.
