HOMEWORK: Read the assignments from the presentation. All written work on the reading is due on February 5.

We spent the entire class evaluating the layout of our latest issue.  We identified some areas where we could improve the look of the paper.

HOMEWORK:  First set of story generators are due February 5.  First articles are due on February 13.

We continued to attempt to create our web logs.  Most students got to work on changing the look of their site.

HOMEWORK:  Continue to work on developing the look for your blog.

We spent the period beginning to read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and setting up our reading web logs on http://learnerblogs.org. Instructions for the web logs and the reading schedule for the novel can be found at http://varnumreading.edublogs.org.

HOMEWORK: Read the novel (1-88 due by Feb. 6) and set up your web log.
