We continued with our Dickinson presentations today.  Sadly, we were interrupted by the madness of March.

HOMEWORK:  Begin reading The Great Gatsby.

Students took the Romanticism Quiz.

HOMEWORK:  Read 783-800 and answer the “Quickwrite” on page 800 with a Type II, 20 line writing.

Students took the quiz on Vocabulary Unit 7.  Following that, we continued watching Moby Dick.

HOMEWORK:  Review notes on Moby Dick.

We did a Type II writing (20 lines) on the most significant lesson learned in high school.

HOMEWORK:  Prepare for the Romanticism quiz on Thursday.

We lost the period to March Madness activities.

HOMEWORK:  Study for unit 7 vocabulary quiz tomorrow.

We began the Dickinson poem presentations today.

HOMEWORK:  Review information from presentations.

We finished The Quiet Man.

After that, the students completed a type II writing assignment on the biggest lesson they learned in high school.

HOMEWORK:  The final novel project is due on Monday, March 24.
