American Lit

We continued reading about the Puritans and taking notes and learning how to read the textbook.  We also heard about Courtney’s grandmother’s flight from Nazi Germany.

HOMEWORK:  Prepare for quiz on the “Beginnings” chapter.  Voyage to Zoltan projects are due on Friday.

Great Books B

We spent the first part of the period setting up their blogs.

After that we discussed the beginning of Act II and the concept of the one minute drill.

For our first post assignment of the term, review Act I, Scene iii, Lines 56-82 (Polonius’s advice to Laertes). Which piece of advice do you think is most relevant today? Why? Which piece of advice do you think is least relevant today? Why? You may not choose the “To Thine Own Self be True”.
