I returned the college essays, and we talked about revision strategies.  We focused specifically on comma usage.

Following that, we prepared for and began our discussion exercise “One minute drill”.

We continued with our “Blogs of War” unit.

HOMEWORK:  Continue reading The Kite Runner.

We began our unit on Puritan literature by reading the biography of William Bradford and started to read the selection from “Of Plymouth Plantation”.

HOMEWORK:  Get definitions for vocabulary words.

We spent the period reading and revising our articles.

HOMEWORK:  Revise your articles.  New articles and story generators due on Friday.
