We worked on body paragraphs and the conclusion of the essay today.  Tomorrow, students will work on the essay in class.  It will be the last day to do so.

HOMEWORK:  Continue to work on essay.

We watched a video today demonstrating the basic operation of Adobe InDesign.  Tomorrow we will do some hands on training.

HOMEWORK:  Continue to revise articles.

We began by setting the deadline for the out of class Type IV writing on The Kite Runner. On October 21, students will turn in an essay addressing the following prompt:

Compare and contrast the father/son relationships in The Kite Runner with those in Angela’s Ashes.

There will also be an in class essay on The Kite Runner on October 23.
