I presented the Pride and Prejudice essay topics and Pride and Prejudice Study Questions.  The rest of the class was devoted to essay revisions and writing conferences.

HOMEWORK:  Complete essay revisions.

I returned the formal essays and students began working on the revisions.  I also presented the Vietnam Song Project which will be due on Thursday.

HOMEWORK:  Work on revisions and projects.

Students took the vocabulary quiz today.  Following that they began reading the section on “American Romanticism” in the textbook.  They should take notes on the chapter for an open note quiz.

HOMEWORK:  Finish the reading.

Students continued to work on portfolio/stringbooks.
