Students took the test on Pride and Prejudice today.  Following the test, we continued to watch the Kiera Knightley version of the film.

HOMEWORK:  New weblog post due before next class:

Hamlet or Pride and Prejudice?  Which is the “greater” book?  Give two reasons to support your opinion.

Students wrote a Type II (25 lines) on Kiowa’s death and we began discussion of the final chapters of the novel.

HOMEWORK:  Work on essays which are due on Friday.

We discussed possible holiday article topics and polling techniques.

After that, we continued to work on articles and layout.

HOMEWORK:  Continue to work on Story Generators and articles.

We finished watching the Last of the Mohicans film.  We will have a quiz tomorrow.

I distributed new vocabulary words as well.

HOMEWORK:  Study for test on film.  Bring book to class.
