We finished watching The Pentagon Papers and discussed how the film demonstrates the most important role of journalism in a free society.  Articles were due today.

American Lit

Cover of Cover of The Great Gatsby

I distributed a new list of vocabulary words today.  Students looked up the definitions in the dictionary.

I also gave students time to read Chapter 7 of The Great Gatsby in preparation for Monday’s quiz.

HOMEWORK:  Read Chapter 7 and prepare for the quiz.
