Students took vocabulary quiz.
Following that, I presented a lesson on how to take essay tests, and we began to discuss A Tale of Two Cities as a whole. Some of the key words we suggested included: corruption, revenge, revolution, poverty, loyalty, sacrifice, love, duty, class system, deception, justice, honor/dishonor, character in crisis. What kind of themes can we make from these key words?
HOMEWORK: Prepare for the test.
